DC Designer's Own Home - Tricia Huntley

One of my favorite designers, Tricia Huntley of Huntley and Company, had her home recently featured in The Washington Post and I almost missed it!...because it appeared in the Real Estate section. I had been following along with sneak peaks from her blog Luxe and Lucid but full blown pics are so much better. Tricia's transformation of her midcentury home is full of chic, luxe goodness with classical elements throughout. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I did. (First five photographs by Katherine Frey/The Washington Post)

Now that's a powder room! More images from The Washington Post feature here
Detail pics by Tricia Huntley here. If you're interested in seeing her work up close, be sure to go to the upcoming DC Design House to see Tricia's take on a master bedroom sitting room.

DC Designer In Traditional Home

DC designer Whitney Stewart's work will be featured in the upcoming issue of Traditional Home magazine. Here's a sneak peek that was forwarded to me, more images to appear in the published issue. This is one of the best kitchens I've seen this year - absolutely love how the freestanding hutch was incorporated into the visual field of the kitchen and what seems to be glass backed cabinets that let light stream through. Photography by Francesco Langese.
Here are a few of my favorite images from Whitney's web site here.

Looks like a Calder painting to me.
This sink and faucet combination is perfection!
Hope you have a great weekend!

Tricia Huntley's Lake Geneva Part 2

Back in 2010, I did a brief post about Tricia Huntley of Huntley & Company's incredible project in Lake Geneva. I recently came across more images from this dream apartment with the million dollar view on their facebook page, so I just had to share all this luxe, chic goodness.
